It uses Alarm.com's app in its packages to secure your home and also has full installation services that is same day in many cities. Their prices are higher than DIY, but competitive when it comes to full service. Overall, their technology and service is competitive, but some customers have had issues with customer service and support.

Product Details

Alliance Security's plans focus on monthly security packages that include systems with home automation features brought to customers by Alarm.com integrations. We'll go through their equipment quality and their packages so you can understand exactly what they offer and what you are getting.

Alliance Security's Equipment

Alliance Security uses affordable entry-grade equipment. They sadly, do not offer customization when it comes to the equipment that can be used. Although, it appears that Alliance will provide the equipment with the monitoring plan, it may not be for everyone. There looks to be some customization options, but you have to contact them for pricing, which some don't like from a sales perspective.

Alliance Security's Monitoring Services

One benefit of Alliance Security is that it uses a certified 5 Diamond Monitoring Center. This is an independently provided certification and means that the individuals monitoring your house are some of the most qualified in the industry. Additionally, here is additional information about each of Alliance's packages:

Monitoring & Security Quality

Overall, the Alliance Security systems are only as good as its equipment. Although the equipment will work for most customers, there are some that may feel more secure with name brand or higher end equipment. That said, Alliance Security's monitoring service gets good reviews from customers and with its 5 Diamond Certification, you should feel secure with the monitoring service's ability to defend you.

One of the things that gave us pause was the few reviews mentioning issues with customer service and support once the system was already set up. If this is an issue, it can cause wider spread issues with customers not knowing how to use their system or worse having issues with equipment remain idle for longer.

We just got our new system

We just got our new system and so far so very good! Came out last night presented the packages, seemed far too good to pass up. Appointment was set for today for the install, window one hour not 1/2 of a day like everyone else. Installer showed up early was very professional as were the two sales people who came to our door the night before. Everything was just as presented. Had a great feeling and I am a tough one having been in outside sales for 34 years myself. I would recommend giving them a call and you be the judge.
