I replaced my 25 year old, porcelain coated tub, KitchenAid dishwasher with this new stainless steel tub model, because it was time to upgrade my kitchen. The old one still worked fine, but it was dated looking. I looked at all the brands and I only considered the ones that had the ball bearing rollers on the top shelf (KItchenAid being one of them). I really liked the smoothness of how the top basket rolled out. I also wanted the front controls and no protruding handle, and again, KitchenAid offered both those features. I also liked the 60 minute express wash cycle option, as I didn't want to be required to use the 2 hour cycle all the time. The express cycle uses 6.2 gallons of water which is fine with me. Each cycle choice and soil level uses a different amount of water, 2.8, 3.8, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0, 6.2, 7.2 and 7.7 gallons. We always rinse/soak our dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher, so there is no excuse for any dishes to come out dirty, which they don't. The heated dry works great, which is aided by having a metal tub vs. the cheaper plastic tub. I installed the dishwasher myself, since I had to update the electric to a GFI protected 3 prong plug and the water line to a 3/8th inch connection fitting. That was the most work, installing the dishwasher was easy. Although, the electric wire supplied by Home Depot had very short leads (maybe 1-1/4 inch) that need to be connected to the dishwasher wires. Just a little tough to hold and twist the wire nuts on such a short lead, but not too bad. The ground wire was also short and it needed to be wrapped around a grounded hex head screw on the frame. Now, the wire was made of many copper strands and the shoulder of the screw was skimpy and I did not like how the connection might perform. What should have been provided as a wire end, was a crimped on flat "U" shaped or eye hole connector for the screw to clamp down on. Doing so on a braided wire would allow some strands to push out from underneath the screw head. I elected to crimp on a connector and solder it for good measure. The wire was not supplied by KitchenAid, so this is not a knock against them. Also, there most likely will be variations in wire manufacturers and others may not have to deal with this modification. My wire was $9.99 and I did not get to see it before it arrived with the dishwasher. I must also say that my 25 year old dishwasher was heavier and seemingly built sturdier that the new one. The old motor was larger and had a steel housing and the new one has a plastic housing. But, that is probably the new standard and adequate for it's life expectancy. So, I would not splurge on unnecessary features and over pay for any appliance, this one met my needs at a reasonable price; it was on sale for $599, regularly $799. I have had it for 2 weeks and I do like it, it does an excellent job and is super quiet. I have no regrets so far. We got the stainless exterior because it matches our stove and refrigerator. The stainless is a pain to clean, but if you wipe it down with mineral oil after a cleaning, any streaks or splotches disappear and stay fingerprint free for weeks. The photo below is after the mineral oil was applied.
Awesome
I love it! It's so quiet that sometimes I have to check and see if it's running. Very roomy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

As a former Appliance repair coordinator, I knew the value of KitchenAid products. When the 8 yr old Frigidaire gave up it's controller, a new board at $130 was not gonna make it to repair this under $300 unit. This thing sounded like a 747 taking off when it went into wash. This model is great. Easy install, but the odd-garden hose water input adapter made me scratch my head. Love the adjustable top rack. It's VERY quiet, much needed here in this open kitchen-dining-living room townhouse. A breeze to install. Great set of controls. The LED indicators are VERY bright. Yes, it's a bit longer wash cycle, but in the 2 weeks we've had it, it's been flawless. Did I mention it's very quiet??
excellent dishwasher
We wanted quite and excellent and that's exactly what we got. Reasonably price, great service [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's so quiet I can't even tell it's on and my dishes have never been this clean. Make sure to use a rinse aid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This dish washer is incredibly quiet and gets our dishes so clean. Our glasses were covered in film from the old dishwasher. Those same glasses now look crystal clear, brand new.

This is a great dishwasher. We are especially impressed with the quietness. It cleans everything especially well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
46 DB Dishwasher
At 46 Db in an open floor plan home we can watch TV and not have to turn the volume up. Much better than we expected. My wife loves it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great Dishwasher!
Very.very quiet dishwasher. Love the feature that controls can be locked between washes so young kids can't press buttons and start machine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
A real winner
Have had this dishwasher for a few weeks now. So glad I chose it. Quiet as a mouse, wine glasses fit nicely in top rack & it's very easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We purchased this dishwasher after debate between a Maytag, a Bosch and this KA. We decided on the Kitchen Aid, and we couldn't be happier. We have purposely left caked on food, peanut butter on knives. And after a month, we still haven't found anything this dishwasher can't get off. We liked what we heard about the Bosch, but the slots on the rack are too small for our dishes. We went with the Kitchen Aid and are 100% happy with our decision.
great feature
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and love the pocket handle as it's in a tight area and was afraid of the other handles catching on things, so wonderful feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Super quiet
Unbelievably quiet, the first time I used it I kept checking to make sure it was on. Easy to use and enormous space that does double what my last one did. Great buy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Awesome Dishwasher!!!!
We purchased this KitchenAid about a month ago it is working great! Very quiet, cleans the dishes and sanitizes. Best priced dishwasher for the performance I in the market. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great product
Replaced an Amana that didn't clean and didn't dry. We didn't realize how noisy it was until we ran the KitchenAid, we barely knew it was running. It cleans, dries, and is solidly built. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Quiet
I've only used it once, we have it at our second home. Very quiet. I've never had a bad experience with KitchenAid. My go to brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Dresses up kitchen
This is a great dishwasher. Easy to install. Beautiful design. The only negatives are adding the rinse aid and if you lean against dishwasher it turns on. Confusing. However; all other features are excellent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Runs Like A Pro
With six kids and living in a one income home, I have slaved over the sink washing dishes for hours in a day. Missing out on play with my children among getting other work accomplished. But not now! With my new Kitchenaid Dishwasher, I have relief. I load, push start, and walk away. All the time, knowing that my dishes will be clean, sanitized and ready for my family to use at our next meal. What a stree relief. I also appreicate the absolute quiet of the machine. You never hear a thing. I can read with my children without being annoyed by the sound of dishes washing. I really enjoy the luxury of my new Kitchenaid Dishwasher. Thank you! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We've been asked to write a review of our purchase and usage experiences. Home Depot's website is extremely well organized which was of great value in assisting with an easy side-by-side product comparison of features and cost. The purchase phase couldn't be easier either. We selected this KitchenAid model and while we've only be using it for a few weeks we've been unable to find any "con's" whatsoever. Strong and silent it's everything we'd hoped for - glad we selected this model and can easily recommend it to prospective buyers. The installation phase, which should have been smooth as silk, sadly fell far short of anything we could have imagined. We've a Reverse Osmosis Water System in the cabinet adjacent to the dishwasher cabinet. Although carefully and patiently explaining, several times, higher level of care and caution was necessary to not disrupt that system, in the process of installing and connecting the water hose - somehow the installer caused the water recovery tank to be dislodged and roll-over releasing gallons water into that lower cabinet and in that incident also causing the recovery tank to lose pressure resulting in our inability to use the system. We've notified the responsible parties and currently await reimbursement of the water technician's service call to restore the system.. We're told that can take from six to eight weeks to occur. Apologies for publicly sharing our unfortunate "sour grapes" tale of installation - which does not alter our highest product satisfaction level. The product features are awesome and the unit is a welcome addition and thus-far proving to be an excellent choice.
Great features and great value
Our old dishwasher had given up the ghost and in the quest to find a new onewith great features, silent operation, and great value, KitchenAid fit the bill. Things were easy right out of the box. I am moderately handy and the self installation was a breeze. Each load comes out squeaky clean and the drying function is a nice feature you cant find in most high end models. Our old unit sounded like a hurricane in the kitchen but I can't hear the KitchenAid even standing at the sink right next to it. We will put this unit to the test having a family of 12 and doing 2-3 loads a day but in the month we have owned it, it is an excellent machine at a great price. Great dishwaher
I looked at every brand and model before deciding on this dishwasher. My first priority was the lower rack configuration. This model does not assume you always use small plates and large plates. And, it does not have large holes(spaces) in the bottom for items to drop through. I like that the tines are even, a large plate can stand in the same space as a small one and the fact the back tines can be folded down for larger items. My 2nd priority was how quiet the machine is when running. I can honestly say, I can only tell when it's running because of the lights on the door. It is very quiet. If I had to mark it down for something, the top rack is molded too sharply for glassware. There is not enough space to place the glasses between the steep "V" shape without them falling forward, especially my large coffee mugs and tumblers. A flatter configuration would work much better. All said and done-this is a very nice dishwasher. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Still early on, of course, but so far, so good. The dishwasher has all the features I need and is nice and quiet. The rack setup is good. I can fill the dishwasher pretty efficiently although I'm still working out the bet layout. The silverware tray is nice, the slots for individual pieces actually works quite well. The Pro-Wash cycle (auto soil sense) seems to work qukite well. Kudos to both Home Depot and Kitchenaid (Maytag) for standing behind their product. Somehow, the door of the dishwasher was damaged in transit and I didn't see it until after the dishwasher was installed (self-installed). There's a protective plastic bag over the door that I didn't remove until the last stage of installation so didn't see the dent until then. Kitchenaid agreed to order the new front panel and have it installed, no problem. While happy with Home Depot's response as well, in the end, it would have been quicker to have contacted Kitchenaid directly and not involve HD at all.
Works Cleanly
Bought this last week, haven't had much time on it, but been working wonders since. I put a few caked on bowls to see what this puppy could do.. And Was SUPER surprised! The last washer I had, I needed to prewash the dishes in order to even have them clean some... and the Look is so nice 🙂 now just to get a stove 🙂

This dishwasher is AMAZING!! It was rather easy to install for me...a single guy who doesn't have a pretty lady to help wash dishes...yet. The optional installation kit is a must! The connectors on each dishwasher is different, so to ensure it works, you have to get the kit. It was super simple to hook up and make look great. The old dishwasher would leave dishes spotty, leave food, certain items would redeposit and make the clean dishes dirtier. This one leaves every dish, glass, tupperware container...anything you put inside SUPER CLEAN! I also don't use the heat drying option but the dishes come out dry! Also, the machine is super quiet and I can barely even hear that it is running. Although i would accept a pretty girl over this dishwasher...the dishwasher comes in a very close 2nd.
Awesome Dishwasher
Absolutely love my new dishwasher!! It is so quiet, I barely know it is running. It cleans amazingly, and I love the fact that the top shelf can be lifted to allow for larger things on the bottom, but doesn't shorten the top shelf space. Also, the wine glass holders are great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Super quiet
We needed to replace our dishwasher and I liked the features in this one, especially the smooth sliding of the drawers. But the best surprise was the ultra quiet operation of this dishwasher. No sounds interrupting ourliving. Our old dishwasher was so loud TV volume was raised during its operation. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Finally we upgraded!
This dishwasher is so much quieter than my last one. I love the different options it has. My only complaint would be the home delivery. I am still rating 5 stars bc the it's about the dishwasher, not the delivery process. I've bought all my appliances through Home Depot and did delivery, never had any problem until this last purchase. It took two weeks.
Super quiet
I bought this dishwasher a month ago and I am very pleased with the performance. It is also very quiet which I appreciate. It is easy to load and has several wash and dry options. My only small issue is the buttons are on the front panel making them easy to accidentally hit when working at the kitchen counter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
great dishwasher
I've had this dishwasher for 3 weeks now, and it's been great. Super quiet, cleans terrific. I'm glad it has no handle because it fits in the corner of my kitchen and wont get in the way of any drawers needing to be opened. The silverware bin is different, but the top slides right off so if you don't like they way you put the silverware in you can take that off and then it's just like a regular silverware bin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Top of the Line Dishwasher
I love my KitchenAid stainless dishwasher! I selected it because I have always been happy with KitchenAid. This model the Cadillac of dishwashers! It is well built, drawers slide easily, barely audible in wash cycle and very easy to operate. I have peace of mind and am so happy that I chose KitchenAid and this model. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Quiet, easy to fill and use, one problem
I like everything about it, except if you lean up against it while working on the counter behind it, the controls are so sensitive, the dishwasher wants to start, and if you lean up against the start control it WILL start the cycle! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
A clean that is really clean
A month ago I got a Kitchenaid dishwasher. I am very happy with how well it cleans and how quiet it is. It was a nice surprise to see how shiny my dishes really are. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is easy to accidentally turn it on. We bought the model with the controls in front, we have bumped it several times and turned it on by mistake. It is so quiet it takes a minute or so to realize it is even on. There is a control lock button, which when pressed will prevent you from turning it on accidentally. The button works great, you just have to remember to press it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Quiet, well made and as advertised
Quiet, quiet, quiet. Large interior. Gets dishes clean and dry. A vast improvement over our last dishwasher. The only issue, and it is extremely minor, is the silverware unit. It sits on the side of the lower rack and has two sizes of slots so you need to find the slots large enough for your silverware and unless you have the lower shelf all the way open you have to reach into the unit to put utensils in the rear of the unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Good job
The dishwasher does a great job and is extremely quiet. The only negative is the very long cycle. Over two hours for an air dry wash [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Good Dishwasher
Bought this in November and am very happy with it. It is quiet and does a really good job of taking thick sticky egg off the dishes. I would prefer a more convenient silverware rack, and I do miss having that item in the door area. All in all, I would recommend this dishwasher. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Needs some restyling
The dishwasher does a very good job of cleaning the dishes and utensils, but does not dry them well. The contents are still quite wet when I unload it. My biggest complaint however is the location and sensitivity of the controls. When I am working at the counter above the dishwasher I often end up leaning against the counter and unknowingly starting or stopping the dishwasher. This has happened numerous times and is very frustrating! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
great product .Lousy experience in the purchace and delivery
great dishwasher . Lousy experience in the purchace and delivery. First delivery the unit was missing parts. Second, a week later, the delivery men were sent out with out the hook up package and the delivery men had no idea that it was to be installed or that the old unit was to be removed. With the use of some of my supplies and the use of the old hook up kit that was in place the delivery men were accommodating enoughto complete the Job. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great cleaning, good value
Quieter than I expected and cleans very well. Fingers on racks are set further apart than I would prefer, but perhaps that helps it clean better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very Quite
I have always liked the Kitchenaid brand. The stainless steel tub is nice. I don't seem to get as many dishes in this dishwasher as I did my old one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Flush cabinet install gone wrong
The dishwasher is working fine I just have a few things to get used to like the fact that my spatulas and tongs are too tall for the upper rack arms. You know the usual. My problem is with the installation. They didn't read the instructions and didn't adjust the height of the front or rear legs nor did they install it flush with the cabinet (there is plenty of depth)nor did they check for plumb or level. Not sure what they did to the insulation blanket. Will go back to THD sales person to ask and make a few calls. Don't have a contact number for the delivery/installation company only a fax number (old school I guess).
Missing something!
So far it's been a great dishwasher. However, every time I run it there is residual moisture. I am having someone come check it. It seems to be missing a small silverware basket in front of the large one. There is space but no holder. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

12-10-16 This is the "Prius" of dishwashers without the cost of the much more expensive name brand. There are only 2 reasons I did not give this 5 stars. 1st- The controls on the exterior are sensitive. We have accidently started a cycle with a bump. Would have prefered the controls on top of the door like our old dishwasher. 2nd- Our old dishwasher had a countdown to when it was done. This does not so I never know how much longer till the cycle is done. Not big issues. They are more me then the product and features I did not consider until the dishwasher was installed. Clears great and I do love it.
Dishwasher
The install would have been easy had KitchenAid included the plumbing (90 degree) and electrical connections. Runs quite and only once did it not clean a couple of things (because I do not pre-rinse). The utensil holder is a bit bigger than I think is needed but I like the opening at each end and the ability to slide the top slot holder off. Overall a nice machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great looking
Bought this recently and it looks and performs great. Only reason for not 5 stars is that the waste water angle attachment is not included which made me take an unplanned trip to hardware store. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought the front control model because I liked the recessed handle rather than the handle style on the top control. We've had this dishwasher for a month and we are very happy with it so far. It is quiet, does a great job cleaning dishes and pots and pans. We use the recommended detergent and rinse and generally set the controls to "ProWash" and "Heat Dry". Our glasses and silverware come out so clean. I would give it a 5-star rating if the control panel was not so sensitive. If I lean on the front of the dishwasher while I'm working at the counter, the dishwasher starts. It is quite a simple matter to cancel the cycle, but it is the only drawback that I can find so far. Maybe I would choose the top control model if I could make my choice again.
QUIET
I PURCHASED THIS TO REPLACE A KITCEHAID I PURCHASED ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THE NEW ONE IS THE BOTTOM TRAY DOES NOT PULL OUT CORRECTLY ON THE TRACK SOMETIMES [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great affordable dishwasher
Was looking for a newer stainless steel interior dishwasher to replace a 15 yr old one. I looked at many other brands but kitchenaid's rack layout & smoothness of sliding racks sold me. It is so quite too. Only had a few weeks so far but I love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Decent machine
We bought this when we remodeled our kitchen. It's quiet and does a decent job getting everything clean.
Just stainless steel.
Its a dishwasher w a computer. Remains to be seen how that works out in the long run. The whole thing gets hot. Computers dont do hot. Its quieter than my 14 yr. old unit. Should be with that thick insulating blanket. Is it built any better? I didnt think so after comparing parts. Same ol pump and heating element. Just stainless. Is it worth twice the price of my old one? Depends. I dont think so. I thought it was just as noisey as my old one. I was expecting silence after reading these reviews. They either have bad hearing or a really noisey old washer. Wife agreed. It sure looks nice. Nice features, but I saw other units for 1/2 of this one, still stainless, w good features. Not sure what they think their providing here for almost $800 w tax, warranty etc. Failed to remove simple egg left overs in a large teflon skillet. Not inpressed. I get it, lots of folks feel t need to talk up an over priced item they bought. Not me. I call it like I see it. You'll have to decide if this is worth it to you. I dont think so. Shoulda bought the $450 units we saw. Im sure they do just fine.

As advertised--very quiet. Two less than positive comments..#1-lower rack seems not to hold plates well. Rack splines could be angled a bit. May try to bend them slightly. #2-Our previous KitchenAid model had the controls on the top and easy to see/read. This has controls on the front and I need to turn on the lights and get my reading glasses to make sure I'm hitting the right button. Buttons are also very sensitive and have accidently started the cycle a couple of times while working on the food prep service/countertop above. It is quiet!
OK for the money
I bought this unit at a liquidation outlet store with some minor cosmetic damage. The until functions well and was relatively easy to install myself as a replacement to another brand's unit which didn't seem worth repairing. Overall my impression of the unit is that it's overall quality, while sufficient to me for the money I paid, doesn't handle and feel robust as an everyday used kitchen appliance and my sense is that it will not be a long lasting addition to my kitchen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very quiet but overall has its kinks
Ours was a switch from a GE Monogram dishwasher that just started leaking after 13-15 years. Small inconveniences include the lack of handle to hang a drying towel. The dishwasher is very quiet, and I guess it's a huge upgrade from a previously noisy dishwasher, but our GE Monogram was decently quiet as well. The cycles take longer, and drying seem to be the issue - even after a complete cycle with heated dry the dishes and glasses come out wet, significantly wetter than with the previous dishwasher. Using the rinse aid somewhat alleviates the problem, but it doesn't seem to do a very good job drying overall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Doesn't dry dishes sufficiently
I am very dissatisfied with the drying cycle. Leaves dishes way too damp. Feel like if I don't empty right away mold might grow. Still worried about mold even after emptying. Tank is wet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
not what we expected
Sorry to say, but we have not had a good experience with this dishwasher. The top rack rolls out as soon as you open the door, you have to hold it in order to load or unload the bottom rack. Also the front control panel turns on with the slightest touch, accidentally, if you bump into it with your hip or butt, or tummy when reaching to get something out of the cupboard above it. Our dog has turned it on twice with his paw. It is so quiet, you don't even notice when it is on when this happens. If it happens after the dishes are washed, they remain wet. So sorry I chose this model, we are stuck with it and it is a daily aggravation . The cycle to run the dishwasher is a few hours, twice as long as our old one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Sensitive control panel
The controls are too sensitive. You actually can press unwanted buttons if you touch it with your body while reaching into upper cabinets. Or while standing at the counter. It's also hard to see the rinse aid level. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Once a quality brand but now disappointing! Glasses, cutlery and pots always spotted. Cycle is endless but nothing comes out really clean. Found out that Whirlpool now owns Kitchenaid. Could that explain it? Definitely not worth the money.
Control Panel Issues
I loved this dishwasher for the first 1.5 years. Randomly the "control lock" button blinks and I am unable to press anything to start this machine. I've had several service techs out to fix this, even replacing the control panel. That seemed to work for 3 months and now I am having the same issue. I am highly disappointed in this product, especially for the length of time I've had it. I spent too much on this to have constant issues with it.

As soon as I got it I was thrilled! It is super quiet, the drawers look and feel premium, it looks great overall... Soon I realized that the "Light cycle" is like not washing the dishes at all. Completely useless. So it the ProWash cycle. So if you decide to run it with few items, you will still have to run Normal or Heavy. Its performance is overall subpar, many times I end up washing some items by hand as soon as I take them out from the dishwasher. Two staples? The plate used to smash avocado and the turner used for scrambled eggs. But they are not the only ones anyway. many times I have to hand-wash silverware. Note that I rinse everything before it goes in. Now it's been six months since I bought it. The detergent dispenser's lid stopped operating so I had to call the service and have it replaced. SIX MONTHS. If a dishwasher is gonna be this mediocre, let's spend $ 400 on it, not 76 or 8 hundred.

Please Do not buy any KitchenAid Dishwasher, I purchased Model KDFE104DSS3 in June 2016, it is showing rust on front and inside. Called KitchenAid since it is in Warranty period, the Technician came and informed me he can't do anything, I need to call Whirlpool and gave me the phone number to call. There are around 10 spots on Stainless Steel Dishwasher that are showing Rust. Under no circumstance Stainless Steel is supposed to catch / show Rust. I am in process of contacting Whirlpool, will update my review. Pictures are uploaded. These pictures are taken after the Technician tried his best to remove rust with his chemicals / WD40 etc. I have taken bunch of pictures of all, not sure how many I will be able to upload. Also it is true that the front facing buttons are extra sensitive, we stand close and if any button gets touched very slightly the Dishwasher comes in action. Hope this Review will help someone take right decision before they purchase a Dishwasher.
Worst purchase--consider the reviews of long-term owners
Folks, I can only tell you my experience. About a week after installation, it broke, and a technician had to replace the sump pump. A week later we had water coming out onto our floor, and the technician had to come out again and replace the motor. It's now August, 17 months after purchase and the dishwasher is broken again. We've paid an outrageous cost for a dishwasher (and warranty) that has broken three times. Do consider reviews from people who have owned this dishwasher for more than a year. That's when you know whether or not the quality and value of the purchase merits the price. Buyer beware.

I wanted to wait for a year before I rate this product. It worked OK for first 3 months; after that its pain. Doesn't take out the coffee stains. Doesn't clean the pots, the pasta sauce still stays there. Tried all cycles: pro wash, tough, normal but no use. changed detergent many times but no luck. I am cleaning the dish washer every month also using dish washer self clean detergent monthly basis. Its a JUNK :(. Ours is a 8 year old neighborhood and almost everyone is looking to replace their dishwasher. So far, at least 10 friends asked about this product; I strongly recommended not to buy this one and I am happy that they listened me and bought something else.
Waiting on third repair
Leaking for the third time. The first time the repair person came, he said that the upper rack tracking had been recalled. Not sure why diswashers with recalled items are being sold before the issue is fixed? Then, a piece fell off the side of the machine, leaving an exposed screw. Now, it is leaking again. And, this dishwasher was purchased THREE months ago! So frustrating.
Total failure !!!!
Bought this dishwasher in February, it worked well for two weeks then it quit working....technician says the main circuit board died. I was told the part could take up to six weeks to get? Woorlpool should send out replacement board asap.......I'm very unhappy having bought the most expensive dishwasher I've ever owned. The worst part is, my old cheap 10 year old dishwasher was running fine......we just wanted a more quieter updated one. Spent alot of money, to wash our dishes by hand. Thanks Kitchenaid! Unbelievable, used it one time and now it doesn't work at all. Service person coming in 2 days, and I can see where this will go. We will have to order parts and it will be several weeks before they come in. I really thought I was upgrading going to KitchenAid, totally unacceptable.
Looks great!
Had this delivered the first week of December, had a plumber install it between Christmas and New Year's. Test ran it a couple of times, but it was incapable of cleaning anything. Looks fantastic in the kitchen! Unfortunately, my husband can't justify paying a $100 service call on a $800 dishwasher, that never worked in the first place. We're a family of five, hand washing dishes, every day. It's now April, and it's come up again. I am removing it and taking it back to Home Depot.
Delivered with defective motor
Although my dishwasher was delivered with a defective motor, meaning it just did not work, they sent a service person to repair. They wanted to replace the motor, but I wanted a new one. They delivered me a new dishwasher in 2 days. It is working fine but a little dissapointed even though it says 46 decimals it is still loud. Hoping my dishwasher lasts me a few years.
